Who doesn’t like chocolate?

We have 3 chocolate puppies and 1 pink/slate puppy from Coco and Mickey DOB 5/25/17

Videos of our tiny sized hairless and powderpuff Chinese Crested puppies playing and being socialized by us and families who come to us to visit their puppy.

These puppies have all been adopted by wonderful families.

Chocolate powderpuff Mythic Sadie (was Cali) adopted by Jill and family. Sadie goes to school with Jill and works with young children.

Pink and chocolate with white and chocolate furnishings hairy hairless Mythic Cleo adopted by Glenn who loved his Chinese Crested girl who passed away.

10/21/17: Pink and chocolate super hairy hairless Mythic Calisto adopted by Judith who flew in from Germany to visit us. Her daughter also flew in and she has 4 of our Chinese Cresteds. Calisto will fly home to Germany with a Puppy Nanny in January 2018.

11/11/17: DeAnna and her entire family came to visit us and pick up hairy hairless pink and slate with white, black and brown furnishings Mythic Caesar. He drove all the way back to Wisconsin and visited Niagara Falls and other sites on the way home. Caesar will have other 4 legged siblings to hang out with. They are so impressed by how sweet and well adjusted Caesar is. DeAnna and her family are SO HAPPY with their first Chinese Crested baby.

At Mythic Kingdom, we like smaller sized Chinese Cresteds. Our puppies are bred to be 4-8 pounds as adults. Many are under 4 pounds, very few are close to the 8 pounds and most are in the 5-6 pounds range. These sizes are perfect for families who love Chinese Cresteds and want a smaller than the standard size of 9-16 plus pounds. Our tiny Chinese Cresteds can go anywhere, even fly in the plane with you. If you are looking to buy your next Chinese Crested puppy, then you are at the right place.

Hi Alice. Thank you for your support. We love families like you who understand and value our adoption process and the way we breed and raise our puppies. Kisses to everyone.

We adopted our puppy from Mythic Kingdom in 2015. They were amazing by answering questions, sending us additional pictures and letting us come to their home for several visits while we waited for Tao to grow. They are not about the money. We had to insist on putting down a deposit since we knew 100% that they were the only Chinese Crested breeder we wanted to get our puppy from after speaking to several breeders They could have charged more considering the quality of our pup. When people ask about Tao, we tell them about Mythic Kingdom. 6 out of 5 stars.

OMG this is awesome! Great on your family for standing up for what you believe! You guys have amazing values. And spot on about new scaring others. Fear and jealousy will stick it’s ugly head when someone raises the standards. I am sure other breeders are jealous. Eneryone in the same camp so we can back bite and be catty. And for those who don’t have yours, they must be envious of those who have. Personally, I think you guys are the best.

    Dear Genmah82.
It’s great your Crested is perfect for you. Pets are like people, there are all types of breeds in different colors, sizes, energy levels and personality to suite different people. Even within breeds, some have been bred snaller and others bigger over the years. Aside from size, colors and conformation change over time by breeders. What’s right for you may not be right for the next person. It’s up to each of us to find the right breeder to bring home the perfect puppy.
Please keep in mind that we don’t just breed smaller Cresteds. We also breed for health, great personalities and we take our time to match each family with the perfect puppy based on energy level too. We are not right for everyone and not everyone is right for us. We are not the standard Crested breeders. We: do not tape ears; we let our doggy Momnies to nurse as long as they like; we do require families within driving distance from our home to visit us; we do open our home to families flying in to meet us; we are not in a rush to “get rid of” our puppies; just because someone has the money and wants a puppy does not mean we say yes; we do not send our puppy in cargo; we do require families to keep up posted on their puppy each year; we use a complete and holistic nutrition plan; we don’t use cheap food or treats with fillers, preservatives; we do require all families to fill out our adoption form; each family has to speak to us; we do answer questions before, during and after adoption; we will not allow anyone to adopt a puppy if that puppy will not excel in their home; we don’t accept a deposit or payment without going through our adoption process; we give an 8 year health gaurantee; each of our puppies are born in our home and socialised by the 4 of us as well as friends and puppy families; and we do provide post adoption support on training, grooming and anything else; we do require all families to spay/neuter; we do take lots of pictures of our puppies to show their development; we share information about Cresteds; we treat others the way we want to be treated; we do not engage in gossip; our goal is to be the outstanding breeders we would like to get a puppy from. Our mission is to go above and beyond what other breeders do. Our passion is to share our love of Cresteds. This requires a lot of time and energy which is made worth while when we receive thank yous from our puppy families. Most of our families have had or still have the standard sized Cresteds from orher breeders. They have 1-4 Cresteds from us, going on their 5th. This says a lot to us. Tim, Dante, Raiden and I thank all our puppy families for loving our Cresteds. We thank all the families who have driven and flown to our home to visit us and then drive or fly in to pick up their puppy. We thank them for continuing to learn about this very special breed. We thank them for sharing pictures and updates. Without these wonderful families, we would not be able to do what we love. They are part of our extended family and our continued relationship with them is important to us.
Tradition is great if it continues to improve. Breaking from the status quo is not easy. New thinking can scare people. But new thinking and practices that brings added joy to others and does not cause harm is good.
We hope this has shed some light as to who we are.
We wish for you and everyone health, prosperity, and love.

My Crested is a normal size. I don’t think anyone needs a Crested smaller than the standard size. Mine is 14 pounds and she is very loving.

  • MichaelA . November 26, 2017 .

Some Crested parents like/want/need these little puppies. These breeders have a dedicated base of loyal families. What they do is out in the open. From everything we’ve read and seem, they are legitimate breeders. I think some people are thrown off because their quality is so high. MythicKingdom is comperable to Apple. As a brand, Apple is dedicated to being the best. Best products, best customer experience, best innovation that translates into real life improvements. Apple is not cheap. They don’t hope people will buy their products or come to their stores. They have an ever growing loyal base. Other tech companies just can’t keep up. Sounds familiar?

We ❤ Mythic Kingdom Chinese Cresteds !

Ok Mythic Puppy Parents. It’s time to circle the wagon. It incredible how judgmental few people can be! For anyone who have not met Christina, Tim and their lovely children to speak ill are just that, ill. We are blessed to have 2 Chinese Crested babies from them. We flew to their home both times. They are gracious, intelligent, and charming. No they are not the standard breeders. They opened their home, answer questions AND wanted to know us. It’s not about giving them money and we got a puppy. We got our perfect puppies because they took the time to get to know us. We have known them for 6 years now and it’s the best breeder relationship we have had. And yes, we bought our previous Cresteds from standard AKC breeders. Compared to Christina and Tim, they are standard. And yes, we are fortunate to be able to afford the best. We have spent little and we have spent a lot on our babies. They money we spent on our 2 Mythic Kingdom babies is a bargain compared to the issues we have had to deal with from babies of standard breeders. We love that our kids were born and raised in a home with a loving and caring family. We love that they are healthy. We love that their breeder loves them. It’s way beyond tiny size. For us, it about breeders who actually care about Chinese Cresteds. We are thankful they are not standard breeders.

GEBAMH82 sounds like a troll. You are either ignorant or a jealous breeder. 🙁 All AKC breeds have been changed over the years by breeders and the standards change, few for the better and most for the bad. So these breeders breed small. So what. I have been following them for a while now and I’m impressed. They have tbeir act together. They do more and give more than what other Crested breeders. Instead of bitching, learn. Open your mind. Get off the fear waggon.

If you know of Chinese Crested history, it’s the AKC breeders making the Cresteds bigger and hairier. Christina and her family aren’t hurting anyone. In fact, they have giveb us our Charlotte who is 8 years young, healthy, loving, smart, silly… She is our loved baby. As for what they charge, why is that your concern. To us, our Charlotte is worth her weight in gold.

Our Crested girl, Blu Belle, from Mythic is the most amazing Crested we have ever loved. We love all our Cresteds, no matter the size, color, sex or amount of hair or lack there of. Having loved so many over the years, our little Princess from Mythic Kingdom is by far the sweetest, and smallest. We are so grateful to have been able to have her. Not only has she never been sick, Tim and Chris are the nicest people. They speak well of others, are great breeders who love their Cresteds. If you like them big, then go to other breeders. Some of us like them smaller. We were on the fence about going smaller for about 4 years and Chris spoke to us each time we called to ask questions. She never tried to sell us a dog. In fact it was the opposite. My wife and I both know other breeders push their puppies on us so it was incredibly nice to deal with Chris who is really smart, kind and never gave us a hard sell. Just like people, there are all kinds of Cresteds. As Chris always says, they are not for everyone and everyone is not for them. They are picky. They care about their puppies. We wish all breeders cared about their Cresteds as much as them.

Akc show breeders sell their show prospects for several thousands of dollars with puppy back in their contract. The pet quality puppies are cheaper because they are getting them out the door. So prices are relative. These little puppies you think are expensive are worth it to some. I have seen puppy brokers/pet shops (they sell other breeders or puppy mill puppies) sell there little puppies for up to $12,000 for ones 4 pounds and under. These brokers/pet shops don’t have info on the line, no hguarantee, are not helpful… So Chris’ adoption prices are low for the highest quality puppy and support we get. If you want to know how it all works, call your standard AKC breeders, brokers and pet store that sell Crested puppies. If you don’t care about how your puppy is raised, cared for, or infornation on the puppy, any breeder will sell you a puppy for cheap. They will have specials, offering a discount if you buy the puppy right away. Chris does not offer a discount and not in a rush. Until you have experienced their level of love and dedication to their miniature Cresties, you’ll never know. Good luck.

Yes these puppies are very nice looking but are they really worth it? Why breed smaller than the AKC standard? To charge more? You should breed to the standard. It’s not good for the breed to go smaller.

I am completely in love with Prince Caesar! He is so gorgeous and what a personality! I love Cresteds and have the privilege of being a Mommy to several of them. He remind me of my Bono who passed away this week at 11 yrs young. He was one of the sweetest and charming little guys ever (well not so little compared to your Cresteds). I miss him dearly. I have been following you for several years now, read and re read everything, and love all your puppies. I am not as young as I used to be but still young at 56. Please let me know if I can be his Forever Mama.

I love looking at your puppies. Each of then are just beautiful and kook so happy. In particular, I appreciate your rarer colored Cresteds. All your Cresteds are very beautiful but there have been several litters that have that extra star quality. I think this litter with the chocolates and the mosaic eyed Prince Caesar are outstanding. If I had to choose a puppy, I would have to adopt all 4!

Hi Glenn. I know your so excited to have your little girl in your arms. She’s already so whenever you are ready, she’s flying home to you with one of our Puppy Nannies. Cleo and you were meant to be.

  • glennwilcox . August 25, 2017 .

All the pups are so cute. That Cleo is a little energizer battery girl. Can hardly wait to get her home.

Been looking for a Crested baby for about a year. Your puppies are so cute. How do I send in money for a puppy?
