Mythic Kingdom Puppies

Pictures taken at day 4, almost 3 weeks, 5 weeks.

LEVEL OF HAIRLESSNESS:  When Kubie was born, I was thrilled! He was so bald! We have met a lot of Chinese Cresteds over the years from other breeders, as well as the puppies born in our home and he was the baldest Chinese Crested ever. He has a Mahawk strip of hair on his head, very little plume and barely any socks. His face has barely any hair. He does have a tiny strip of hair on the side. With his slate skin and pink spots, he won my heart from day 1. Everyone knows I love naked puppies and as the most naked baby born to date and as a singleton, he was worshiped by me, played with by Tim and held by Raiden and Dante. I gave him a name I always wanted to have for a special little Chinese Crested man, Kublai Khan. I knew he has that special magic. Of course, to me, all Cresteds are special but you know, there’s some that really capture my imagination and heart. We knew whoever was going to adopt him was going to be blessed.

GROOMING:  Kubie was chosen by his family when he was very young, around 3 weeks. They kept his birth name and knew he was their boy. They have always loved Chinese Cresteds of all levels of hairlessness and also the powderpuffs. So when they found us, and having gone through our tough adoption process, they knew we were the breeder for them and that Kubie was the one for them. We did bath him weekly but did ask them if they wanted his facial hair and side tuff groomed. “Don’t touch a hair on him!” They really loved everything about him. Because he is so naked, he will never need to be groomed. His face can be trimmed with a blunt scissor or with a tiny buzzer but even that is not needed. It’s a wash weekly bath in the kitchen sink and that is it. Of course, he still needs to have his toe nails and ears cleaned but that is it.

LIFESTYLE: When Kubie flew home with the Puppy Nanny, he was welcomed by his human parents, human siblings and 3 standard sized Chinese Crested from other breeder. Kubie is a perfect hairless boy. He ended up being only 5 pounds and gets on charmingly with his much bigger Crested siblings. His parents were so happy with the way we do things that they they said, “You and Tim are our breeders. We’ll never get a Crested from any other breeder. We’ll be back for another one.” After living with Kubie for 2 years, they did come back and adopted their second true hairless boy, Michelangelo, from us. Then they adopted their 3rd, a super hairy hairless chocolate boy, Jean-Claud. Our Cresteds are able to travel everywhere with them since they are all 5 pounds verses the 14 plus pounds from other breeders. They are also really impressed with how socialized, happy and healthy our puppies are. Their veterinarian has treated all of their Cresteds and he too is incredibly impressed with the health and amazing temperament of our tiny sized Crested.

Hi. Sorry we do not give breeding rights. All of our puppies, young adults, and retiring adults are to be spayed and neutered. You will find plenty of breeders who will play one with breeding rights. Please know that having puppies is a lot of work. It’s amazing but someone is home around the clock before they are born and afterwards to care for the mom and puppies. Get educated before having puppies. Good luck.

I have a Crested girl that is only 12 pounds. Do you have a boy that is smaller? We may want to breed them down the road. Probably not but we want to keep that option open.
