Product Benefits:

About Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids: pawTree Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil is a magnificent source of Omega-3 fatty acids that is necessary for almost every function in your dogs’ body. There are Omega-6 fatty acids and Omega-3 fatty acids – what’s the difference? Omega-6 fatty acids are in vegetable oil, sunflower oil, and safflower oil – oils that are common in most dog food diets. Omega-3 fatty acids are in either fresh wild caught fish or in different types of seaweeds. Omega-3 fatty acids are anti-inflammatory and Omega-6 fatty acids are pro-inflammatory. In a typical dog’s diet today, the ratio is about 1:40 (one Omega-3 fatty acid to 40 Omega-6 fatty acids) which is actually a pro-inflammatory diet. By adding Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil to your dog’s diet, you increase the amount of Omega-3 fatty acids achieving a ratio of 10:1 or even 5:1.

Poor quality, itchy coats are commonly seen in our pets today. One of the reasons is that they are not getting enough Omega-3 fatty acids. By increasing the amount of Omega-3 fatty acids, you will see an improvement in the quality of their coat and they won’t be as itchy.

Not all salmon oils are the same. It is very important to use wild caught. The difference is that salmon caught in the ocean are living vibrant, healthy lives. Farm-raised salmon, on the other hand, are held in captivity (a large volume of fish in a small area), which causes substantial stress on those fish. That stress relates to the biochemicals that those fish release, so a wild-caught salmon provides a better fish oil than farm-raised salmon.

By increasing the amount of good oils in your dog’s diet, you’re supporting overall optimum health for a healthy dog and a vibrant life.

“If you are going to wrestle a bear, try to stay away from all fish oil products, you know. I mean it’s tough for me, because I love to rub myself with salmon oil every day – it’s a great conditioner for the hair, skin.”

I have tried everything for Theo’s skin breakouts. His breeder is no help what so ever! We will try this to see if it helps. I always disliked the idea of spending more for items because of the expenses but it’s worth trying none the less. I’ve looked on a variety of websites for about a year trying to get help for my poor baby and am nervous about switching. I look what I read on your site and it seems to make sense. Is there any way you can call me for a consult for my skin issues? Any kind of help would be really appreciated!

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and
gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said
“You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.

There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!

Aftеr Mr Joha, our hairy hairless, was put on the salmon oil, his skin is so much clearer! I even gave his breeder your website hoping she will start using your food and supplinents. She was polite but not to enthusiastic about your program. There’s too much jealousy and back biting with breeders instead of learning and supporting each other.

Awesome job on your beautiful Cresteds and your amazing website. You are an inspiration for Crested families.
